Move/Laptop

  • Drinking: something soon
2 things:

I've moved to another home that I wasn't too thrilled about, but so far it hasn't been as bad. Just hope that despite the disc herniation, I can move back to another independent home and really hoping for my own place. Being on particular social services "should" help (note quotations).

Now just waiting a little longer for a laptop and wifi cap. as long as a signal is around. And so because of all this, any requests or commissions will be postponed until I can even get a scanner.

I'm just glad I'm not going bonkers without the Internet :P.

NOTE: I have a Twitter page, shocking as it may be. Located at twitter.com/creatorforhire

Commissions

Alright, everyone. I'll start off with some good news (to me). Despite how the job market is because of the economy, today is my last day cleaning. It's pretty much the one I've described about in one of my poem uploads if you get the chance to read it, i.e. "What Work is".

So, PRAISE ALL, I AM DONE CLEANING-FOREVER!!!!!

Now before any confetti is thrown, there's no doubt a down side. That means I have no extra income coming in. But this gives me a good opportunity to open up commissions again as well as trades and requests. Cause I would like my work to be noticed by other eyes out there involving creative job outlets.

At this moment, I'll have a starting commission prices at $5 (US currency):

Sketch, 1 person/character sketch: $5
Color: $7
Multiple characters sketch or color: $7
Characters and backgrounds: $10

So make me proud!

Anime Next 09

Another year of con-ness :P. This time, my brother will be along for the convention, depending how much more he needs to get done before moving to Georgia. Just hope A.N. will be slightly better this year since my anime kick is back in.

UPDATE:

This year's con ended up being better than last year's. Ended up splurging by buying a beginner's set of Copics and multiliners at their special price. I took part in an "Anime Jeopardy" panel and came in second place in the second run of contestants (my saving grace was knowing more Hellsing questions than anything else *embarassed blush*).
Lot of surprising cosplayer get-ups this year (Juno eh?). Overall, I didn't spend as much at the dealer's room, didn't buy any J-snacks :(, but I got a candy tin box as a consolation panel prize. And...found my prized black Mokona plushie, only a small version of it, but better than nothing. *hugs teeny Mokona".

Don't everyone fret if they see the "Sad" emoticon, nothing is bothering me. Was reading the latest volume of "Fruits Basket" and tearing up near the end. Very sad but makes so much sense (trying not to spoil it for everyone you hasn't read it" so my tears will be hot for a while :). Don't worry I'll be okay.

Angels and Demons

Thrilling, what I expected in story telling to keep someone interested, intrigued and with emotions and being shocked by unexpected twists.

Not exactly a Twitter comment, but it's under 200 words or characters depending on the rules. But yes, nothing got me angry or upset about it. The issue of faith and science were balanced very well in my opinion; hopefully no spammers with their torches will come by for pro-religion or pro-science/technology.
